Employee Volunteering - Give a Little, Gain a Lot
All organisations, regardless of whether they are a private
company, a public sector body or a non-profit, have an impact on
the community in which they operate - socially, economically as
well as culturally. This is what is known as the socio-economic
impact. A prosperous, healthy community benefits all who live
and work in it, including the companies.

If Women are the future, where are they?
This was a recent headline in a leading daily newspaper in the
UK, The Guardian. It was referring to the low number of women
attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, despite a new quota
system pushing for 25% participation. The result? Well there
were 2,500 delegates in Davos, and just 17% were female.
