Corporate
Citizens vs Corporate Members
- We use
the terms Corporate Citizens and Corporate members interchangeably.
- However,
Corporate Citizens are legally actually service recipients of
Community Business. They are not legal members. We wanted to work
with companies in a legal form that they are most familiar with
and also as a small charity we wanted to keep unnecessary administration
to a minimum.
- We chose
the term "Corporate Citizenship" because it confers
upon companies a sense of responsibility that extends beyond their
immediate company.
- We believe
that Corporate Citizens see themselves as members of an association
that brings together like minded people to address a common area
of interest.
