Focus Areas

Community Business works with Corporate Citizens in three distinct areas of corporate social responsibility:

  • CSR Strategy and Policy
Our services include assisting a company to develop their CSR strategy and policy.  This takes place after in-depth dialogue with their primary stakeholders which will often include their Board of Directors, management an staff.
  • Corporate Community Investment (CCI)
CCI is generally the most visible way that your company can demonstrate its social responsibility. CCI is your company's approach to your involvement in the community in which you operate and includes both policies and programmes. CCI is undertaken strategically and is aligned to business objectives and community needs. "Investment" usually takes the form of employee time and skills, in-kind initiatives and financial contributions

  • Diversity in the Workplace
Diversity in the workplace refers to your company's ability to recognise and celebrate individual differences of your people. These individual differences may arise from gender, family status, disability, race, age and sexual orientation or from any other protected characteristic. Companies that address diversity in the workplace do so because it makes business sense- they want the best people, most efficient entry into niche markets and maximum productivity
