Commitment to CSR

Baker & McKenzie’s global network of offices in nearly 40 countries have always been committed to integrating and creating value in the communities in which they work and operate.  For over three decades in Hong Kong , Baker & McKenzie continues to make a positive impact through multiple avenues of community service.  Our mission is to:

  • foster an environment which encourages and promotes socially responsible practices (Professional Development, Equal Opportunity and Diversity); and

  • promote and sponsor activities which provide opportunities for all Firm personnel, independently, and in partnership with our clients, to contribute to the well-being of the communities in which we practice and live.

Supported by the Firm leadership, Baker & McKenzie provides financial support and encourages staff involvement across a variety of community projects through its partnership with various independent and non-profit organisations including the Community Chest and Phoenix Clubhouse (as part of their Transitional Employment Scheme).  The Firm and its staff also participate in various other charity and social programmes.  These include the Helping Hand Program (Elderly Care) and Ronald McDonald House (Children).

In Hong Kong , we see our community engagement as our responsibility as citizens of our communities and as our commitment to foster best practices.
