Hong Kong
Quality Assurance Agency established in 1989 as a non-profit-distributing
organization by the Hong Kong Government, the mandate for Hong
Kong Quality Assurance Agency has always been to assist
industry and commerce in the independent development and
certification of quality,
environmental, safety, hygiene and social management systems
applicable to the international standard.
The
implementation of CSR becomes crucial as companies are
increasingly concern to be a corporate citizen and eager to
show their care and obligation to the stakeholders and the
community.
HKQAA is
committed to create values in the community by offering a
variety of services which can assist industry players to
implement and comply with the practices of CSR and to advance
their CSR performance.
HKQAA and its
staff members are highly enthusiastic about different
community events organized by different social sectors,
including Walks for Millions organized by the Community Chest
for raising funds for social welfare agencies to improve the
lives of hundreds of thousands of needy and disadvantaged in
the community.
