Commitment to CSR
At Prudential, we strongly believe that listening to the needy
in our community is part and parcel of being a responsible
corporate citizen. As an insurer who always listens and cares,
Prudential is always committed to the well-being of the
community by actively participating in local community
services.
Over
the years, a series of community activities have been initiated
to advocate health-related messages and help develop the potential
of our younger generation. Some previous community campaigns
that Prudential has amply taken part in were The World Heart
Day Campaign organized by the Hong Kong College of Cardiology
to help raise the public awareness on heart health and The
World Wish Quilt Campaign organized by the Make-A-Wish Foundation
to raise funds to help realize dreams for children with serious
illness. Prudential's devoted efforts to serve the community
also demonstrated by its previous participation in the annual
charitable walk organized by The Community Chest, where all
levels of the company joined hands to contribute to the needy
in the community.
Looking
ahead, Prudential will continue its commitment to further
maximize its strength to reach out serving our local community.
