Women Leaders in Hong Kong
This publication explored the lives of women leaders in Hong Kong to find out the issues and concerns they have had to deal with in leadership positions.

Work-Life Balance in Hong Kong: A Survey
This survey was carried out between Community Business and the University of Hong Kong.  The main emphasis of this survey is the impact of work life balance on employees productivity, health and job satisfaction.
 

Employee Volunteering: The Guide
This is currently work in progress.  This publication will explore the lives of women leaders in Hong Kong to find out the issues and concerns they have had to deal with in leadership positions.
 

Corporate Social Responsibility: A Survey of Best Practice
This survey was carried out jointly between Community Business and the University of Hong Kong with support from the American Chamber of Commerce.  The main emphasis of the survey was on internal employment practices (e.g. equal opportunities) and community investment.
 

Getting Started - A Handbook for Companies in Hong Kong
This handbook is written for companies with operations in Hong Kong. The publication gives companies a general idea about what Corporate Social Responsibility is.  It concentrates on talking about Corporate Community Investment (CCI), which is a vital component of Corporate Social Responsibility and takes companies through a CCI audit.
 

Race for Mentors
This is a pilot project which brings senior executives to mentor students from a government band 3 school.  The pioneer for this project is Credit Suisse First Boston.

Proving the Business Case for Employee Volunteering: A case study, Race for Mentors – a project between business, an NGO and a government school
Community Business has measured the business benefits arising as a result of one specific employee volunteering programme- Race for Mentors.  This programme has brought together the government sector, the private sector and the non-profit sector over a 6 month programme where corporate volunteers have mentored youth from a government school.  The business case for all 3 parties has been measured and the case study proves that if undertaken strategically, there is a strong business case for employee volunteering.

 

World Bank Institute Course on "Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Competitiveness"
This is a General Education course currently conducted at the University of Hong Kong.  It is the first Corporate Social Responsibility course conducted in Hong Kong.  The course consists of online modules supplemented with 4 workshops.
